The Selective Transient Field (STF) is a scalar field extension of General Relativity in which a real scalar field couples to the covariant time derivative of spacetime curvature — activating only where curvature is changing rapidly, and switching off entirely in static spacetime. The field was constructed from two anomalies: spacecraft performing Earth gravity assists showing unexplained velocity changes, and ultra-high-energy cosmic rays arriving systematically before the gravitational wave mergers they correlate with — by a mean of 3.32 years, at 61.3σ significance.

From two parameters locked by these observations, a deterministic derivation cascade follows. The same field accounts for galactic rotation curves without dark matter, the dark energy density, the primordial power spectrum, and the numerical values of Standard Model constants including the electron mass (99.35%), proton mass (99.78%), and baryon asymmetry (99.74%). A companion first-principles derivation from 10-dimensional compactification over the Calabi-Yau threefold CICY #7447 recovers all parameters without observational input — converting the two-parameter constraint into a prediction. The retrocausal boundary conditions the field satisfies also provide the first physically grounded, empirically testable framework for temporal ontology and dissolve the hard problem of consciousness without adding anything to the physics.
